Her extensive television career featured appearances in iconic series such as Lou Grant, Cagney & Lacey, Silver Spoons, L.A. Law, Knots Landing, Ellen, Married … With Children, Dharma & Greg, Scrubs, Will & Grace, My Name Is Earl, Modern Family, S.W.A.T., Mom, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and Good Trouble, showcasing her versatility across various genres.
On stage, Siff made her mark by originating the character of Helga in the 1993 off-Broadway comedy Grandma Sylvia’s Funeral, which humorously explores a Jewish funeral gone awry, involving audience participation. She also had memorable roles in productions like Lilies of the Field, Lost in Yonkers, and Over the River and Through the Woods.
Helen began her commercial journey alongside her late identical twin sister, Carol Infield Sender, in a 1976 Subaru ad titled "Two Cars in One."
In film, Siff portrayed various characters, including a cashier in John G. Avildsen’s The Karate Kid (1984), a hair salon customer named Mrs. Skitzer in You Don’t Mess With the Zohan (2008), and a maid in the Coen brothers' Hail, Caesar! (2016), where she cleaned the Malibu residence of Channing Tatum’s communist character. Additionally, her film credits include appearances in Avildsen’s Rocky (1976), Big Top Pee-wee (1988), Earth Girls Are Easy (1988), City Slickers II: The Legend of Curly’s Gold (1994), and The Disappearance of Mrs. Wu (2001).

Helen is survived by her son, Matt; daughters Susie, Karen, Vicki, and Jenny, who works as a script supervisor in Hollywood; and several grandchildren, including Chelsea, Zach, Robert, Josh, Spencer, Megan, and Dean.
She was predeceased by her husband of 41 years, Marshall, a dedicated attorney who passed away in 2007 due to complications from Alzheimer’s disease, and another son, Bruce, who died in 1999.
