Motorola's New Foldable Revolution: Razr Fold, Edge 70 Fusion, and Moto Buds 2 Series (2026)

Motorola has officially unveiled the Razr Fold, along with the Edge 70 Fusion and new Moto Buds 2 at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The highly anticipated Razr Fold is Motorola's first book-style foldable smartphone, offering a unique and innovative design. With a 6.6-inch external display that folds out to an 8.1-inch 2K LTPO internal screen, it provides a seamless and immersive visual experience. The adaptive interface, enhanced by the Moto Pen Ultra stylus, allows for easy navigation, note-taking, and sketching. Under the hood, the device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, boasting 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. It features a large 6000mAh silicon-carbon battery with 80W Turbopower charging support. The camera setup includes a 20MP outer and 32MP inner front-facing cameras, along with a 50MP main camera, 50MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultrawide camera with macro support. The phone is available in two colors: Lily White and Blackened Blue. While an official launch date in Australia is yet to be confirmed, Motorola Australia has hinted that it will be announced soon. For those not interested in foldables, the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion offers a blend of elegance, comfort, and durability. With IP69 and IP68 protection, MIL-STD-810H certification, and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, it's built to withstand various adventures. The phone boasts a 6.8-inch Extreme 1.5K Super HD resolution AMOLED display in Pantone colorways. Powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 Mobile platform, it features a 5200mAh battery with up to 39 hours of usage and 68W turbo charging support. The triple rear camera system includes a 50MP Sony LYTIA™ 710 main sensor with OIS, a 13MP ultrawide + Macro camera, and a 32MP selfie camera embedded in the display. Lastly, the Moto Buds 2 and Moto Buds 2 Plus have been introduced. The Moto Buds 2 cater to a younger, entry-level audience with Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) up to 55dB, offering up to 11 hours of playback with a total of 48 hours of battery life including the charge case. They utilize dual 11mm Dynamic Drivers and 6mm Micro Planar magnetic drivers for sound, supporting hi-res audio. The Moto Buds 2 Plus takes it a step further with 'Sound by Bose technology', enhancing sound depth and detail. These buds offer up to 9 hours of playback and 40 hours in total with the charging case. Additionally, they feature Audio Share, allowing you to connect two pairs of buds to your device for shared music, movies, and podcasts with a friend.
